Hello,

We are JF members and we are planning to rent a chalet in upstate New York (Adirondacks) for a long weekend of XC skiing during the season to enjoy New York natural beauties.

If you like XC skiing and you would like to join us, drop us an email with contact information (including phone number) and let's meet to talk about this.

Prior XC ski experience is not necessary but excellent physical fitness and endurance are required. If you are not doing any kind of sport during the year, just forget it because this will not be a "promenade"... Of course, we'll deserve a good rest after the day and treat ourselves good at the dinner table.

There will be full-day outings with 6 to 8 hours of almost continuous good-pace skiing.

However, if you are not afraid to challenge yourself, this should be fun activities.

You must be flexible on week-ends as departure will be decided only one or two days prior the event depending on weather and snow conditions.

In your email, please let us know any prior experience, if you already own your XC skis or will need to rent some and if you have a car.

Cheers,
