This year's event features an all brass band lineup. For two full days, a who's who of the city's top groups will perform in beautifully refurbished park.

For two days, the festival fills the park with the sounds of brass bands and the smells and tastes of gumbo prepared by some of the city's top Creole chefs.

In between dancing and eating, don't forget to check out the large arts market. It's a great chance to stock up on local, hand-made art, jewelry and crafts before the holiday shopping rush
